Equipment labels and ID tags
The same plate goes by different names depending on who is ordering it — equipment nameplate, equipment label, machine ID tag, asset plate. What they have in common is that marking and material are selected for the intended environment — model, serial, voltage, capacity, date of manufacture, and whatever your customer's inspector asks for.
We produce permanent labels for equipment in anodized aluminum and stainless steel, marked by laser marking, chemical etching and embossing. The same plates work as durable asset tags across a fleet, and pair naturally with valve tags and inspection and calibration tags on the same installation.
Repair and service tags
Repair tags travel with the unit through the workshop: what came in, what was found, who worked on it, what it needs next. We produce them numbered in sequence with a write-on area, or fully variable when each tag carries its own job number.
Custom repair tags are one of the easiest things to over-complicate. Most workshops need three things on them: a number, a date, and room to write.
Industrial labels for harsh environments
Heat, UV, solvents, washdown, abrasion — tell us which of these the label faces and we will suggest the material. Service life is confirmed for the intended environment. Temperature and chemical exposure requirements reviewed for the project. Full material list: Anodized aluminum, stainless steel, brass — material grade confirmed in the quotation.
Add serial numbers, barcodes and QR codes
Every plate can carry its own serial, barcode or QR code — see our serial number labels and metal barcode tags for how variable data marking works. Batch size confirmed after data review. Send your data as Excel (.xlsx) or CSV.
Frequently asked questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an equipment nameplate and an equipment label?
In practice, none — buyers use both words for the same part. "Nameplate" tends to mean the permanent plate carrying model, serial and rating data. "Label" tends to mean anything applied to the machine, including warnings and instructions. We make both.
What information goes on an equipment nameplate?
Manufacturer, model, serial number, and the rating data your industry expects — voltage, capacity, pressure, date of manufacture. If your customer supplies a required layout, send it and we produce to that spec.
What is the minimum order for equipment nameplates?
From 100 pcs per design · best pricing at 500+ pcs Sample in 7–10 days · production in 15–20 days after sample approval
Can the plate survive outdoors for years?
Anodized aluminum is the usual answer — the mark sits inside the anodic layer rather than printed on the surface. Service life is confirmed for the intended environment.
